BE A PADS SITE VOLUNTEER!
Each October 1st, the PADS sites open for the winter months. The sites are staffed entirely by volunteers who prepare, supervise, and clean sleeping accommodations. They also provide, prepare, and offer dinner, breakfast, and a sack lunch, all in a welcoming, supportive, and safe environment. All new volunteers are required to attend a 2-hour training. Everyone is welcome, and no reservations are needed. For a list of Volunteer Training Dates and locations, click here. For more information about volunteering at the PADS sites, please contact the PADS Program Director at (847) 963-9163, ext. 21.
● Volunteers are especially needed for the 11-3 and 3-7 shifts.
