2009-2010 PADS Season
Beginning this September, mandatory trainings for new PADS and HOPE Center volunteers will be held at Journeys. Returning volunteers are invited to attend as a refresher. The agency-wide trainings will focus on the agency’s organizational structure; how to interact with the homeless; and on general volunteer opportunities at the PADS sites, HOPE Center, and Development Department administrative offices.
Trainings will be held from 7:00pm-9:00pm on alternating Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and from 1:00pm-3:00pm on certain Saturdays. A full year’s training schedule will be posted soon. Trainings for the first two months of the season are:
September 9, 15, 19, and 24
October 6, 14, 24, and 29
