investigate, research, and develop funding opportunities and submit
proposals to obtain new and renewal funding.
The salary

MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in
business, English, public administration, or related field

fundraising techniques and strategies
- Proficient in
Microsoft Office software and databases
- Previous
experience working in non-profit agencies and non-profit fundraising
- Ability to do
extensive research
- Excellent writing
and editing skills a MUST – writing test
will be administered to selected candidates
- Ability to write
clear, structured, and persuasive proposals
- Strategic thinker
with ability to work under and meet deadlines
- Ability to work
effectively with others

ASSISTANT - JOB COACH
Specific Education, Certification and Skill Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work or other related field. Will consider Associate’s Degree with 2 years related experience in job coaching or working with homeless individuals. Experience working with lawn service and knowledge of equipment repair a plus. Computer skills a plus.
Job Description:
Part time position, up to 20+ hours a week, with possibility of full time employment with benefits. Supports client success in employment placements, evaluations, training, goal setting, and follow-up services for successful job retention. May work varied hours depending on client and program needs. Acts as a liaison with the Vocational Coordinator providing training, support, and consultation on employment related issues for success of long term employment.
Other Information About This Job:
Familiar with the north and northwest suburbs and comfortable driving a cargo van with a trailer attached. Must have valid drivers license and clean driving record. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in all weather. Position is contingent on agency funding.
